The Video Image Performance Evaluation Report ( VIPER ) 'Pro' document is designed to provide a detailed structured evaluation of an individual static CCTV camera's performance, and to help identify any performance or operational issues which may need addressing.

It is generally used to evaluate any type of fixed security camera, as part of the requirements for compliance with the TRUSTED CCTV Operational Standards (Part 2).
