The website is operated by The TRUSTED CCTV Improvement Project who are responsible for and control the processing of any limited personal data, which is only ever used for dealing with enquiries, orders or ongoing service updates for existing users.

 

As a 'Not for Profit' specialist information and service provider, with a minimal requirement for any personal data to be supplied only for the purposes stated above, an exemption from notification has been determined under the Data Protection Act 1998.

 

Whilst we are committed to protecting your privacy online, and at all times, we appreciate that you do not want any personal information you provide to us shared, and this section explains how we collect information, what we do with it and what control you may have.

 

We can only supply the goods and services required, provided we are supplied with limited personal data, for example, a name, location, organisation, e-mail address, and payment details. Apart from the option of providing an address or phone contact numbers if needed or offered, no other information should routinely be required.

 

We do not routinely send out any marketing information, unless it has been expressly requested, or an advisory is forwarded on the basis of updated information to a Standard, document or service that has previously been requested or supplied. Users of this site may at any time request ( using the 'Contact' facility at the bottom of each page on the site ) that any advisory or update information be witheld and not forwarded.

 

We will not seek to obtain at any time, any sensitive personal data, as this is not relevant or required for the purposes of providing our services to the site's visitors.
